RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT of RESEARCH

The Office of Grants and Contracts, under the aegis of the Office of Graduate Studies and Research, offers the services of the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) to provide the REQUIRED NSF and DHHS RCR training. CITI’s on-line training modules can be accessed at https://www.citiprogram.org/. Available CITI Training Modules include the following courses:


1. Laboratory Animal Welfare
2. Human Subjects Protection
3. Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
4. Health Information Privacy and Security (HIPS)
5. Responsible Conduct of Research


Instructions to access CITI Training Modules:

The CITI program requires user registration to view its training modules. Please follow the steps detailed below to gain access:


Step 1: Please click on the CITI website at https://www.citiprogram.org/

Step 2: Select “CSUF” from the drop down list of participating institutions

Step 3: Enter a User Name and Password

Once registration is confirmed by CITI you will have access to the training modules.

The above website contains a series of interactive tutorials on the "Responsible Conduct of Research" available for use by any group for educational purposes only. The site was developed through a NSF Science and Technology Center Program (Material & Devices for Information Technology Research).


Cal State Fullerton is an affiliated member, so to access the training materials simply fill out the User Registration Form to create an account, choosing CSUF from the list of registered members >>> User Registration Form
